Citizens' Police Academy

About the Citizens' Police Academy

Twice a year, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office sponsors a Citizens' Police Academy as an opportunity for residents to become closer acquainted with the roles and responsibilities of the Sheriff's Office. This academy runs one evening per week for 11 weeks. The academy is designed to provide Loudoun citizens and business owners with the knowledge and understanding of police personnel, policies, and practices. Upon conclusion of the academy, participants have the option of applying for a ride-along with a Deputy during a tour of duty.
