Eclipse Watch Party
Monday, April 8, 2024
Think spring! On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America. In Loudoun County the eclipse peaks around 3:15pm, starts at 2:00pm and ends at 4:30pm. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. Join PRCS staff at Lovettsville Community Park to safely view this spectacular event. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
