Tanabata Celebration

(All ages) We are hosting our own version of this traditional Japanese festival. Make Tanzaku and simple origami decorations for the bamboo tree in our gallery, learn the ancient tale of Orihime and Hikoboshi and celebrate with traditional musical entertainment. Then at dusk, we will release lanterns on our pond with your own wishes written on them. (Activity # 463700)
