Fall Prevention and Home Safety

(All ages) Among older adults, falls are the leading cause of injury deaths and the most common cause of hospital admissions for trauma. Fortunately, there are many things that can be done to improve safety in your home. The presentation will include why falls happen, preventive measures, and what to do when a fall happens as well as hazards and possible improvements in the home, poison risks, and fire safety plans.
