(All ages) Do you sell Tupperware, Avon, Tastefully Simple, or any other direct sales products, arts, or crafts? Then this is the event for you! Vendor registration is open for our Holiday Fair on December 6th. This event will provide each vendor with new sales opportunities while providing our community with a shopping event that showcases many products under one roof. The event will be open to the public and will be advertised throughout the community. Vendor registration begins 8/14. (Register with activity #105806-01)

(Ages 10 & under) Your child will be thrilled to receive a personalized letter from Santa, written just for him/her! Included with the letter will be the North Pole Newsletter, complete with Santa's agenda, a craft idea from the Elves, and a holiday recipe from Mrs. Clause. Upon registering, print the Santa information form with your receipt and send it via fax to 703-421-3118, via email to nicole.larock@loudoun.gov, via mail to SCC, 120 Enterprise Street, Sterling, VA 20164, or drop it off at the center in Santa's special mailbox.

(All ages) Stop by the Visitor Center and take part in a celebration of our insect friends! Games and activities will be available daily. Don't forget to pick up your copy of Betsy's Batty Field Guide!

(All ages) Enjoy a day at the park fishing for rainbow trout. Kids fishing runs from 8 AM until noon. Adults can assist. Fishing will be open to everyone after 12 PM. No fishing license is required for this event. Trout may be taken home, but all other species must be returned to the pond. The creel limit will be announced at the event. Volunteers will help clean your fish. Event day registration will cost an additional $2 for children and $3 for adults. (pre-register with activity #162855)

(All ages) Recycle and save money too! Trade your books for more great reading. Books, books-on-CD, music CD's, DVD movies, and large print materials are welcome. No registration is required.

(Ages 10+) Create a zoo you'll never have to feed, the safest swords for aspiring pirates, and the fastest growing garden flowers! Class will start with basic twisting techniques, continue with one-balloon shapes, and conclude with two-balloon creations. (register with activity #103714-01)

(All ages) Join us for a fun, laid-back Saturday event. We'll show an animated movie on the giant inflatable screen in our gym. Admission is free and breakfast concessions will be available. Pajamas are welcome! Pre-registration is required. Vote for the next month's movie at the center. (pre-register with activity #103713-02)

(Ages 4-9) You're probably familiar with picking out pumpkins in a pumpkin patch, but what about jumping into a pool to find them? Grab your bathing suit and meet at the community center. We'll stroll over to the recreation center pool where we'll swim, have fun with friends, and of course, pick out the perfect swimming pumpkins! We'll have time to decorate them, too! (All ages) Join us to find Halloween-colored eggs filled with spooky treats, followed by more treats and games in our multipurpose room! (register with activity #104717-01)

(All ages) The Lucketts Bluegrass tradition continues into its 41st year and is one of the longest continuously running series of its kind in the country. Old time bands and exciting newcomers are featured from the first Saturday in October throughout the last Saturday in April.
