  1. Letter from Santa

    September 1, 2015 - December 15, 2015

    (Ages 10 & under) Your child will be thrilled to receive a personalized letter from Santa, written just for him or her! Included with the letter will be the North Pole Newsletter, complete with Santa's agenda, a craft idea from the elves, and a holiday recipe from Mrs. Claus. Upon registration, print the information form with your receipt and mail to: Sterling Community Center 120 Enterprise Street, Sterling, VA 20164; fax to: 703-421-3118; Email to edward.grey@loudoun.gov; or drop it off in Santa's special mailbox.   4. Trout Fishing Day

    October 17, 2015, 8:00 AM - October 18, 2015, 4:00 PM

    (All ages) Enjoy a day at the park fishing for rainbow trout. No fishing license will be required during this special event. Trout may be taken home, but all other species must be returned to the pond. The creel limit will be announced the day of the event. Volunteers will be on hand to clean your fish.     (Ages 4-8) We have all gone to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin, but have you ever jumped into the pool to pick one out? Here’s your chance! Grab your suit and come to Claude Moore Recreation Center to pick one of our swimming pumpkins! There will be time for swimming and fun, too. Then, we’ll dry off and decorate our pumpkins.
