Trout Fishing Day

(All ages) Enjoy a day at the park fishing for rainbow trout. Kids fishing runs from 8 a.m. until noon; adults can assist. All ages can fish from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. No fishing license will be required. Trout may be taken home; all other species must be returned to the pond. The creel limit will be announced the day of the event. Volunteers will be on hand to clean your fish. There is an additional fee of $2/child and $3/adult for event day registration. Call 540-338-7903 or register for activity 362208-01 Youth or 362208-02 Adult.

This is a challenging 5K race, which takes you along scenic grass, gravel and paved roads and ends with a half-mile, 350-ft., uphill timed-trial. At 951 feet, the finish line offers spectators and participants a great view of Loudoun Valley. Bluemont Vineyard and Bluemont Community Center are co-hosting the run to benefit a local resident with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
