The Virginia Department of Taxation has updated their tax return screening procedures to reflect the extension of the filing due date for the underpayment of estimated income tax for Farmers, Fishermen and Merchant Seamen from March 1, 2019 to April 15, 2019 as stated in IRS Announcement Notice 2019 - 17.
