WIC Program

About WIC 

The Health Department's Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is a supplemental food program, which offers nutritional counseling and education. WIC serves pregnant or lactating women, infants, and children five years old and younger who meet income, medical, and/or nutritional eligibility requirements.

All services are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 703-777-0239.

WIC Locations and Hours

The two WIC offices are located at: 

  • 50 Sycolin Road, Leesburg 
  • 45201 Research Place, Suite 120, Ashburn

Virtual WIC services are available by appointment at the two offices as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  

In-person WIC services by appointment are resuming in a phased approach as follows:

  • June 13, 2023: Open for select in-person services on Tuesdays. (Note: The Health Department will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.)
  • July 6, 2023: Expand to additional in-person services on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • August 9, 2023: Full services available in-person Monday-Thursday.
  • Fridays will be reserved for virtual appointments.
