Through our secure online portal, you can:

  • Pay business, personal property, or real estate taxes.
  • Register for e-billing online.
  • View your Personal Property Tax Payment History.

eCheck

  • You can also pay taxes online using eCheck, an electronic transfer of funds from your existing bank account for payment.
  • You provide your bank account number, bank routing number and amount, and we manage the transfer electronically. 
  • There is no fee. It is more convenient and quicker than writing a check.
  • You are given a confirmation of your payment and all information is electronically secured.

Effective March 17, 2022, National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) operating rules require that organizations initiating Automated Clearing House (ACH) debits (eCheck) via the web or mobile device, verify the consumers’ account information. To comply with this new rule, Loudoun County has implemented a new account validation system. This applies only to the first use of an account number or changes to an account for an eCheck payment. This may result in being unable to process payments until an account is validated and in good standing.

Microbilt is the current account validator for Loudoun County. In the event of a decline, please follow the instructions on the notification and contact them directly at the number provided. Microbilt will be able to add your account or explain any rejection. If there are any other problems or concerns, please contact the Treasurer’s Office at 703-777-0280 for further assistance.

Loudoun County performs regular maintenance on its computer systems every Wednesday from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Some systems may also be unavailable for short periods of time weekdays between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
