- Moorefield Station 23
Moorefield Station #23 (FS623) officially opened for operations in August of 2011. AS construction of the new station began, firefighters assigned to Moorfield were temporarily housed in a warehouse facility on Red Rum Drive and began servicing this rapidly growing section of Ashburn.
Station #23’s location is strategically located to respond quickly to rail emergencies as Metro brings the silver line to eastern Loudoun County. Moorefield Station #23 is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with career personnel from Loudoun County Fire and Rescue and houses an engine, ALS Ambulance, BLS Ambulance, the Mobile Ambulance Bus and EMS Supervisor.
