Route 28 Corridor Zoning Ordinance Update

On June 11, 2014, the Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on the mapping of the Route 28 Optional Overlay Districts. No members of the public signed up to speak. The Board moved to suspend the rules and approve the mapping of the Route 28 Optional Overlay Districts as depicted in the draft map dated February 5, 2014.

Those who wish to apply for a site plan under the Route 28 Optional Overlay Districts must file an affidavit (PDF) in recordable form as specified in the Route 28 Zoning Regulations. A checklist (PDF) is also provided below to guide an applicant's submission for the Route 28 Optional Overlay District Site Plan and to ensure the submission requirements are being met in accordance with the Route 28 Zoning Regulations, Section 4-2900.
