About Loudoun Officer of the Court Remote Access

The General Assembly has authorized Circuit Court Clerks' Offices to allow secure remote access of digital case files to members in good standing of the Virginia State Bar and their authorized agents, pro hoc vice attorneys authorized by the court for purposes of the practice of law, and such governmental agencies as authorized by the Clerk. This is known as LOCRA.

Items available in LOCRA

The digital case files are kept using the Supreme Court of Virginia's Case Imaging System (CIS). Today pleadings, correspondence, transcripts, exhibits, and paperwork received by the Circuit Court Clerk's Office in civil and criminal cases are scanned into digital format and kept in a paper format.
