Service Changes for Loudoun County Transit

Commuter Bus Evening Service Change - Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19, 2024


From Thursday, April 18 to Friday, April 19, 2024, Loudoun County commuter buses will not be offering evening service at the 19th & H Street NW stop due to road closures for the IMF/World Bank meetings. Passengers on Routes 681, 881, 883, 884, 885, and 886 are advised to anticipate service delays during this period.

For those affected by the 19th & H Street NW stop closure, alternative stops are available at:

  • I Street and 19th Street NW (located on I Street, northwest corner at the Metro Bus Stop at the Presidential Plaza Building)
  • 19th Street NW and E Street NW (situated on 19th Street, northwest corner near Mitchell Hall Dormitory, close to the 7/11)

  •  All riders should monitor this web page, loudoun.gov/buschanges, after 4:00 a.m. for possible unexpected service changes. A voice mail message at 703-771-5665 also will be updated should any service changes occur. 
  • To receive Loudoun County Transit notifications, download Transit app for free on Google Play or the Apple Store. After download, set your favorite routes to begin receiving notifications for the buses you ride. For more information, visit loudoun.gov/transitapp.
