Summary

On March 17, 2016, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors initiated a Comprehensive Plan Amendment (CPAM) for development of a Silver Line Small Area Plan. The Small Area Plan will be drafted as a stand-alone document with a specific set of policies for the area surrounding the Metrorail stations that will be located in Loudoun County.

September 5, 2017

For clarification purposes, based on the June 22, 2017, Board of Supervisors action regarding road realignments, the Silver Line Comprehensive Plan Amendment (CPAM-2016 to 0002) went before the Board of Supervisors as part of the Administrative Items Report at the Board's business meeting on September 5, 2017. View the webcast. The Countywide Transportation Plan has been revised.

June 22, 2017

At the June 22, 2017 Board of Supervisors Business Meeting, the Board directed staff to forward CPAM-2016 to 0002, Silver Line Comprehensive Plan Amendment, to the Envision Loudoun process for continued study and ultimate inclusion in an updated Countywide comprehensive plan. The Board approved the Shellhorn Road, Randolph Drive, Lockridge Road and Moran Road realignments, a component of CPAM-2016 to 0002, amending the 2010 Countywide Transportation Plan.
