The consultants interviewed property owners at the two station areas, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority representatives, real estate professionals, Loudoun County staff, and others with knowledge of the study area. Materials researched included market conditions in the region, growth forecasts, and current and planned airport operations. They developed case studies and analyzed trends in development near airports, airport compatibility issues and potential anchor land uses. Market conditions and information regarding projected absorption rates for various potential uses were also evaluated.
