Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve
The 695-acre Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve is open to the general public Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The preserve is closed Monday, Friday and county holidays.

Bazil Newman Riverfront Park consists of over one hundred acres of passive parkland with access to the Potomac River and Goose Creek.

Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail
The Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail (PHNST) is a designated National Recreation Trail. In 2006, fifteen miles of the trail were dedicated as a linear park in Loudoun County, from Seneca Regional Park on the Fairfax County line to Keep Loudoun Beautiful Park on Goose Creek.

Dogs in Parks
Dogs are generally allowed in parks while on a physical leash and under the control of the owner, according to Chapter 612.13 of the Loudoun County Codified Ordinances; however, per Chapter 1092.21, there are certain areas within parks that dogs are prohibited.
