Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Loudoun County advisory bodies are conducting "electronic meetings" under the Continuity of Government Ordinance (PDF) adopted by the Board of Supervisors on October 14, 2020. Meetings dates of this advisory body may differ from its normal schedule. There are six at-large members of the Advisory Plans Examiners Board (APEB) appointed by the Board of Supervisors:

  • One citizen member
  • One person employed by the county
  • One person employed by the Virginia Department of Transportation, who shall serve as a non-voting advisory member
  • Three persons in private practice certified as licensed professional engineers or land surveyors


The Advisory Plans Examiner Board follows the regulations set forth in the Land Subdivision and Development Ordinance, Chapter 1246 (PDF).
