Crime prevention is a concept that asks people to create a safer and more caring community by addressing the causes of crime and violence and reducing the opportunities for these crimes to occur.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Adult Crime Prevention Unit is a proactive part of the Sheriff's Office that offers many programs to assist and train the community in many aspects of crime prevention.
