On March 8, 1988, skeletal remains were found by a passerby while hiking on Route 761 (Sunny Ridge Road). The victim, a white or possibly Hispanic male, had been shot.
Evidence at the scene suggested that the body had been in that location for over a year. There was no identification on the body, and the victim remains unidentified to this day. A reconstruction of the skull was done in 1988, and it was published in 2014 in hopes of generating leads.
The male is approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a stocky build and possible reddish brown hair. He also had a full upper denture, which was found next to his body. He was wearing Sears brand black polyester pants, size 42 waist and 29 inseam, and red socks.
