About the Team
The Underwater Search and Evidence Recovery Team, also called the Dive Team, is composed of deputies from various divisions within the department. This team operates on a part-time, volunteer basis.
Responsibilities
The members of this team have received specialized training to carry out their duties of:
- Aiding in the search and rescue of victims of water-related accidents
- Assisting in the search and recovery of evidentiary items from bodies of water
