Description

In accordance with Virginia Code § 15.1-1239-1270, Loudoun Water exists to provide public water and sewer service to designated portions of Loudoun County. Loudoun Water is self-sustaining and independent of local government and is funded exclusively by the fees and charges it collects for providing water and sewer services. As a not-for-profit, community-owned utility, Loudoun Water is governed by an appointed Board of Directors which establishes rates for the services the utility provides. Loudoun Water’s rates and fees are designed to cover the cost of operating and maintaining customer water and sewer systems. Loudoun Water's nine-member Board establishes policy, sets rates and governs how the utility operates.
