Aldie Fire & Rescue Station
Project Overview
- Located along the Route 50 corridor, this project will construct a new 23,000 square foot fire and rescue facility in the Aldie area which will replace the existing Aldie Fire and Rescue Station.
- The purpose of this project is to provide an updated and accessible facility for the Aldie Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD). First organized in 1955 by a group of Aldie area residents, the AVFD is responsible for responding to fire and rescue emergencies within a 40 square mile area.

- Facility will be designed to achieve LEED Silver designation.
- This project is funded using general obligation bond, local tax and lease revenue financing.
- A groundbreaking ceremony was held on November 16, 2023.
