Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Microchip Clinic - Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS), 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA

  • Tuesday, August 9, 2022 - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  

This is a walk-in, low-cost rabies vaccination and microchip clinic. No appointments needed. Cats and dogs over 12 weeks of age are welcome to attend. Please bring cats in carriers and dogs on secure collars/harnesses and non-retractable leashes. Please stay in your vehicle and follow staff directions for parking.

To receive the 3 year rabies vaccine, you must bring proof of prior vaccination. Cash or check only.

  • Microchips: $15 (free for Loudoun County residents)
  • Rabies vaccine: $10 (1 and 3 year vaccine)
  • Dog license: $10/year (runs concurrently with your dog's rabies vaccination) 

Low-Cost S/N Clinic for Outdoor Cats - LCAS, 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA 

These low-cost, spay/neuter clinics are open to outdoor, feral and barn cats in Loudoun County. All cats will be spay/neutered, microchipped, ear-tipped, vaccinated, dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. You must register to attend a clinic. Proof of Loudoun County residency is required. Cats must arrive in a humane trap. Trap rentals are available.

Storytime at the Shelter, 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., LCAS, Leesburg

Join us for Storytime at the Shelter! This program is for our youngest animal lovers! We will read a story and then meet a few of the adoptable animals at the shelter.

All ages are welcome but those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. This is a walk-in event, there is no sign-up needed to attend.

Book Club, Summer Meeting, LCAS, Leesburg

In partnership with the Loudoun County Public Library, we are excited to offer Book Club! Join us and other animal lovers in the community to read and discuss an animal-focused book each quarter! 

Our summer meeting will be on July 9 and the book is "How To Be A Good Creature" by Sy Montgomery. Book Club kits are available for pick-up at LCAS during business hours (Monday-Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.). Stop by today to get your copy! There is no cost to attend this program.
