- About the Area Agency on Aging
The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is the central point of contact for seniors (55+) and their families.
The AAA mission is to foster independence and healthy aging, and improve the quality of life for older adults and their caregivers through comprehensive programs and services.
Information and Assistance is the first stop for anyone seeking information about resources and services available to older adults and their caregivers.
The Elder Resources Unit is composed of a knowledgeable team of professionals dedicated to helping people at every stage of the aging process. The unit provides information and assistance to help Loudoun County older adults and their families access information about available resources and services.
This is accomplished through written materials, community presentations, telephone counseling, and by providing services and support to help older residents be engaged and remain in their communities for as long as possible.
The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors (BOS) and Loudoun County’s Area Agency on Aging. Learn more.
If you have questions about the resources and services available, please call 703-777-0257 (TTY 711) and ask to speak with an Aging Program Specialist.
