The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is the central point of contact for seniors (55+) and their families.

The AAA mission is to foster independence and healthy aging, and improve the quality of life for older adults and their caregivers through comprehensive programs and services.

Information and Assistance 

Information and Assistance is the first stop for anyone seeking information about resources and services available to older adults and their caregivers.

Services Provided

  • Prompt personal response to inquiries
  • Lending library of information on elder-related issues, programs, and services
  • Short assessment of care and service needs
  • Referrals and help with locating agencies and programs to provide needed resources and services
  • Speakers bureau on elder-related issues and agency programs

Elder Resources Unit

The Elder Resources Unit is composed of a knowledgeable team of professionals dedicated to helping people at every stage of the aging process. The unit provides information and assistance to help Loudoun County older adults and their families access information about available resources and services. 

This is accomplished through written materials, community presentations, telephone counseling, and by providing services and support to help older residents be engaged and remain in their communities for as long as possible. 

Commission on Aging

 The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors (BOS) and Loudoun County’s Area Agency on Aging. Learn more.
