Service projects for animal care and control support the Community Outreach division. Student groups are vital to help spread the word about issues that are important to animals and the community. Groups choose a topic of interest, research that topic, and share what they have learned with their community in a variety of creative ways. Once the project is completed, they may submit a report to animal care and control to receive a certificate of appreciation and recognition in the department’s monthly newsletter.
