How do I request a CD from a hearing?
Requests for a CD
- Only for hearings / trials in civil cases.
- Hearing must have occurred on or after December 5, 2001.
- Each CD contains a single hearing that lasts no more than two consecutive court days.
- Trials or hearings exceeding two days require multiple requests and fees.
- Any hearings or trials that are continued or that do not run consecutively must have additional request forms completed.
- CDs will be available for pick up or mailed
- If mailing in a request and you would like it mailed back to you, you will need to provide a self-addressed stamped envelope. Make sure that it is big enough to fit a standard size CD.
Available Formats
Audio recordings are available in four formats depending on when it was recorded:
- FTR Gold - $35
- These will play on your computer only if you have installed TheRecordPlayer software, which is included on each CD.
- DCR (Digital Court Recorder)
- New format from BIS Digital Inc. User will need to install DCR Player.
- MP3 - $55
- These will play on most computers using Windows Media Player, Nero, etc.
- M4A - $55
- These will play on most computers using Windows Media Player.
Expedited Requests
There is an additional fee of $50 per CD for expedited service, in addition to the cost of the audio CD. Expedited requests will be available for pickup by noon the following business day unless otherwise notified.
