Medicaid Personal Care

Overview

• This program provides services to an individual in his or her home as an alternative to nursing home admission. 
• The services are paid fully or partially by Medicaid. 
• Medicaid requires that an individual require and accept assistance with bathing. 
• Additional assistance may be provided with personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and supervision.
