Loudoun County invites members of the public to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for improvements to Seneca Ridge Drive Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the corner of Augusta Drive and Seneca Ridge Drive in Sterling. Guests are encouraged to use on-street parking on Seneca Ridge Drive in the Seneca Ridge neighborhood.

The Seneca Ridge Drive road improvements will provide traffic calming benefits for area residents and schools, including Meadowland Elementary School, Seneca Ridge Middle School and Dominion High School. Work will take place along Seneca Ridge Drive between South Cottage Road and Augusta Drive to reduce congestion and improve pedestrian safety. The work will include widening the roadway, adding a turn lane and improving drainage. The project also includes the installation of curb ramp upgrades, new pavement markings and signage in compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.

The project is expected to be completed by the spring of 2020. For more information about the project and to sign up for email updates, visit loudoun.gov/SenecaRidgeDrive.
