[ARCHIVED] Intermittent East Market Street Lane Closures Beginning March 30 in Leesburg

The original item was published from March 26, 2020 2:50 PM to March 26, 2020 3:03 PM

In preparation for the start of construction of the new Loudoun County District Courthouse, Loudoun County will be upgrading an existing crosswalk at the intersection of East Market Street and Church Street in Leesburg. The improvements will accommodate a shuttle bus stop from the Pennington Lot to the courthouse as well as make the area safer for pedestrians.

From March 30 through April 3, 2020, drivers should expect intermittent single-lane closures on East Market Street between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Drivers should use extra caution when traveling through this area within the Town of Leesburg and follow all directions from road crews.
