COVID-19 Summary Report for April 13, 2020

 Loudoun County Update
  • Loudoun County has established a limited rental assistance program for Loudoun County households economically impacted by COVID-19. The program aims to help ensure housing stability for low-income workers who have been furloughed, lost jobs or had work hours reduced due to the pandemic. Read the news release for details. 
  • The full closure of Route 9 within the Town of Hillsboro is scheduled to begin on or about May 4, 2020, and continue until mid-to-late June. Regional and local detours will be in effect during this time. The closure is taking place earlier than anticipated due to the dramatic reduction in traffic on Route 9, generated by the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Officials say taking this action now will lesson the impacts to residents, schools, businesses and motorists later. Read more details the news release. Visit rethink9.com for more about the project.
