The Design for the New Aldie Fire and Rescue Station is Underway

In the prior quarter, the site for the new Aldie Fire and Rescue Station was evaluated for placement of the building, and work on a preliminary concept design began. The design process is currently scheduled to be complete in spring 2021, with construction beginning in fall of 2021.

A public input meeting for the project will take place when the social distancing protocols are lifted due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Aldie Fire and Rescue Station project includes the design and construction of a new 18,000 square foot fire and rescue facility in the Aldie area which will replace the existing Aldie Fire and Rescue Station.
