The Loudoun County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection event originally scheduled for May 30, 2020, has been canceled in keeping with Governor Northam’s stay-at-home order and Loudoun County’s efforts to stem the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The county normally hosts eight HHW events from March through November to collect used and unwanted HHW such as gasoline and household chemicals. The popular events are held at various locations throughout the county and typically attract 300 – 500 participants per event.

Updates concerning future events will be available at loudoun.gov/hhw. Anyone with questions may call 703-771-5500 or email the Department of General Services
