Loudoun County Update
  • Free COVID-19 Testing for All Ages: Loudoun County will host free, drive-through testing for COVID-19 at Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park, 42405 Claudia Drive in Leesburg, Wednesday, May 20, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (enter from Sycolin Rd. on Crosstrail Blvd.) The testing is open to all and will occur rain or shine. No appointments are necessary. There are no age or residency requirements. A person does not have to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested. No prescription is necessary. Anyone who is tested will be asked to provide contact information for the test results, which should be available within a week. Read the news release for details.
  • Loudoun County Expands Rent Assistance Program: The Loudoun County government has expanded its rent assistance program for Loudoun County households economically impacted by COVID-19. The Board of Supervisors has approved re-allocating $480,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds to expand the rent assistance program. The goal is to help ensure housing stability for low-income workers who have been furloughed, lost jobs or had work hours reduced due to the pandemic. Read the news release for details.
