  • CARE Program Expands to Offer Grants to Pet Owners Affected by COVID-19: The Department of Animal Services is expanding its Companion Animal Resource Effort (CARE) program to help families affected by COVID-19. Anyone who lives in Loudoun who is struggling to provide necessary care for a pet may apply online for a grant from the CARE program. Grants up to $150 are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Funds may be approved for medical needs, prescriptions, prescription food and certain other pet wellness supplies.
  • Weekend Reminder: As you prepare and plan for the weekend ahead, please note that Loudoun County and Northern Virginia remain in Phase 1 of Virginia's "reopening" plan. In addition, keep in mind Governor Northam's Executive Order 63 that requires Virginians to wear face coverings in public indoor settings to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
