Loudoun County COVID-19 Data Snapshot
Loudoun County Update
  • Loudoun Health Department to Coordinate COVID-19 Vaccination for Health Care Workers Not Already Signed Up: The Loudoun County Health Department is seeking to identify any health care offices or providers that are part of the Virginia Department of Health’s (VDH) Phase 1a group for COVID-19 vaccination but are not already signed up to receive vaccine. Health care providers have been defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and by the Commonwealth of Virginia as being in the first group that should be vaccinated against COVID-19.
    • Health care offices and providers interested in receiving COVID-19 vaccine should email the Loudoun County Health Department (health@loudoun.gov) and note whether they are making a request for an office or an individual not associated with an office.
    • Health care offices in jurisdictions other than Loudoun County should contact the Health Department in the county or city where they are located for information on how to sign up for vaccine.
    • More information about COVID-19 vaccine is posted at loudoun.gov/covid19vaccine

  • Loudoun County's Next Free COVID-19 Testing Event is tomorrow, December 29: Loudoun County will conduct free drive-thru COVID-19 testing on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at Franklin Park, 17501 Franklin Park Drive in Purcellville.
    • The testing event is open to all. There are no age or residency requirements. No prescriptions or appointments are necessary. A person does not have to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested. A PCR test (nasal swab) will be administered, which tests for the novel coronavirus. No antibody or rapid tests will be offered.
    • To help reduce wait times, people who plan to attend the testing event are strongly encouraged to complete a registration form for each person who will be receiving a test prior to arriving at the testing site. The registration form is required and asks for general demographics and contact information including name, date of birth, address, phone number and current symptoms, if any. The forms are available in English and Spanish at loudoun.gov/COVID19testing.
