Loudoun County Update
  • Loudoun Health Director briefs Board of Supervisors: Loudoun County Health Director Dr. David Goodfriend provided an update to the Board of Supervisors Tuesday night about the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination efforts and the county's response to the pandemic. The discussion covered a wide range of issues, including the frustration of residents who are waiting for a vaccination appointment, the importance of wearing a mask and taking other preventative steps after getting a vaccine, and a $1 million award from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help distribute vaccines in Loudoun.   • COVID-19 testing event February 4. Loudoun County's next free drive-thru COVID-19 testing event is scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Franklin Park in Purcellville. This is one of several smaller testing events the county is holding on  Tuesdays and Thursdays in February. Details, including a complete schedule and links to registration forms, are available at loudoun.gov/covid19testing
