In March 2021, crews completed earthwork to prepare the building site and building pad, or area that will support the structure, for the new Lovettsville Community Center. The new community center, currently under construction in the Town of Lovettsville, will replace the existing building. Work to install the new building’s foundation is underway.
Construction is currently estimated for completion in mid-2022, weather permitting.
The new community center will be over 15,000 square feet and will have a full-size gymnasium, five classrooms, a multipurpose room, a kitchen, administrative offices, meeting space and storage areas. The project also includes a 600-square-foot addition and renovation to the existing 1,200-square-foot Pool House.
