• Total Vaccine Doses Administered - Loudoun: 503,559 (up 4,502 since last report) I  Virginia: 9,943,774 (up 135,187 since last report) 
• Loudoun County Residents Fully Vaccinated: 248,716 (up 2,492 since last report)

Loudoun County Update

• New Loudoun COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Opens Saturday: The Loudoun County Health Department will begin operating a COVID-19 vaccination site at Sterling Elementary School, 200 West Church Road in Sterling, on Saturday, September 4, 2021. The clinic will be open every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment only until further notice and will provide free vaccinations to anyone 12 years of age and over. The new location replaces the county's vaccination site at the Dulles Town Center, which will cease operations this Friday, September 3. The hours of operation at the Dulles Town Center clinic for this final week are Tuesday, August 31, 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. and Friday, September 3, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Walk-ins are welcome at the Dulles Town Center clinic. • Other Vaccine Providers: COVID-19 vaccine is now widely available throughout Loudoun County from many providers, such as medical offices and pharmacies including, but not limited to, CVS, Giant Food, Harris Teeter, Safeway, Walgreens, Walmart and Wegmans. The Health Department encourages everyone 12 and older who has not yet been vaccinated to visit  vaccines.gov to find the vaccination site most convenient for you. 
• VDH Reinstates COVID-19 Outbreaks Dashboard: Due to the rapid increase in transmission of COVID-19 across Virginia caused by the Delta variant, the Virginia Department of Health announced last week that it is reinstating a data dashboard that provides information on COVID-19 outbreaks at certain facilities, including schools, colleges and universities, medical care and long-term care facilities and others. • Consider COVID-19 in Your Preparedness Plans: The start of National Preparedness Month is less than two days away and Loudoun County emergency management officials remind everyone to take COVID-19 into account in your disaster preparedness efforts. For example, supply kits should include items that can protect against COVID-19, such as face coverings, hand sanitizer, soap and disinfectant wipes.
