At the October 20, 2020 Board of Supervisors’ meeting, the Board approved the award of the contract for Roadway and Civil Design Services for the Westwind Drive from Loudoun County Parkway to Old Ox Road project.
This project begins at the intersection of Westwind Drive and Loudoun County Parkway (Route 607) and extends south approximately 6,300 ft. to the intersection of Ladbrook Drive and Old Ox Road (Route 606). This project will link the roadways between two Metrorail Silver Line stations, Loudoun Gateway Station and Ashburn Station, connecting Loudoun County Parkway and Old Ox Road. This four-lane divided urban collector road includes construction of a new section of Westwind Drive from State Place to Ladbrook Drive in addition to widening and modifications to existing sections of Westwind Drive and Ladbrook Drive within the project limits. The project includes a bridge over Broad Run. The project will also have a sidewalk and shared use path that will extend for the full length of the project.
