Streetscape improvement work on Edwards Ferry Road, between Harrison Steet and Market Street, will start on Monday, April 24, and continue through the end of the week, weather permitting. One lane of traffic on Edwards Ferry Road will remain open during construction to improve the sidewalk and areas along the roadway. Drivers and pedestrians should use extra caution when walking and traveling through this area and follow all directions from the posted signs and road crews.
This construction is part of the Loudoun County Courthouse Complex expansion project that includes the design and construction of the new 92,000-square-foot Loudoun County District Courthouse and renovation of existing courts facilities, including new parking facilities.
Visitors to the Loudoun County Courthouse will continue to have access to free parking throughout the duration of the project at the Pennington Lot and Pennington Garage which are located approximately two blocks from the courthouse near the intersection of Church and North Streets, NE.
