On March 30, weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin at the Lovettsville Community Center project site to complete parking lot construction, earthwork and geothermal piping. This construction work will take approximately two months.
Although the county is taking steps to finish projects in the area around the existing community center, construction for the new Lovettsville Community Center is delayed as the county works towards procuring a contractor, estimated for late 2020.
