- Milling and paving operations by VDOT are underway on Evergreen Mills Road between Battlefield Parkway and Hogeland Mill Road; the scheduled paving work is estimated to be completed in approximately 3 weeks (weather permitting). - Evergreen Mills Road (Route 621) from just north of Watson Road (Route 860) to just south of Watson Road, as well as Watson Road approaching Evergreen Mills Road will have a weekday flagging operation through Friday, July 12 to install sensors and dynamic flashing lights as part of ongoing safety improvements at the intersection, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
- There will be one lane of alternating traffic via the flagging on Evergreen Mills and Watson roads Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.
- Drivers can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
