- Northern Virginia Remains in Phase Two: Governor Northam today signed Executive Order Sixty-Five and presented the second phase of the "Forward Virginia" plan to continue safely and gradually easing public health restrictions while containing the spread of COVID-19.The Governor also amended Executive Order Sixty-One directing Northern Virginia and the City of Richmond to remain in Phase One.
- Executive Order Sixty-Five modifies public health guidance in Executive Order Sixty-One and Sixty-Two and establishes guidelines for Phase Two.
- Most of Virginia is expected to enter Phase Two on Friday, June 5, as key statewide health metrics continue to show positive signs.

- CDC Guidance on Resuming Schools and Camps: As communities consider a gradual scale-up of activities towards pre-COVID-19 operating practices in learning centers, such as K-12 schools and summer day camps, CDC offers recommendations to keep communities safe while resuming peer-to-peer learning and providing crucial support for parents and guardians returning to work. - COVID-19 Business Interruption Fund: Round 3 Details:
- Round 3 of Loudoun's COVID-19 Business Interruption Fund will open for applications at noon on June 3, 2020, and remain open for 72 hours, closing at noon on June 6, 2020.
- The fund will provide 400 randomly selected applicant businesses with a $5,000 grant. It is designated to support Loudoun businesses impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
- Round 3 funding, in the amount of $2 million, was allocated by the Board of Supervisors from the $36.1 million in federal funding made available to the county through the CARES Act.
