  • Operating Schools During COVID-19: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated considerations for operating schools to align with the new school resources and tools and the latest COVID-19 information. The considerations are intended to help school administrators promote behaviors that reduce the spread of COVID-19, maintain healthy environments and healthy operations, and prepare for when someone gets sick.   • Reminder - Outdoor Dining in Leesburg: The Town of Leesburg’s Outdoor Dining Program continues tonight and tomorrow night. Since July 31, South King Street, from Market to Loudoun streets, closes on Friday and Saturday evenings. Outdoor dining hours are from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., but the street will be closed beginning at 3:30 p.m. There are designated on-street parking spaces for delivery and pickup on East and West Market streets, adjacent to the King Street intersection. Customers are not allowed to congregate in the street and must maintain proper social distancing at all times. This program will continue through October 24, weather permitting.
