Loudoun County Update
  • Select Virginia Health Districts to Begin COVID-19 Phase 1b Vaccinations during the week of January 11: The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) has authorized Loudoun and ten other health districts to begin Phase 1b vaccinations next week. It will take several weeks to months to vaccinate Virginians who fall into Phase 1b. Next week, Loudoun County will provide more information about accessing vaccine locally to members of Phase 1b.
  • PPP is Re-Opening for New and Existing Borrowers: The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in consultation with the Treasury Department, announced today that the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) will re-open the week of January 11 for new borrowers and certain existing PPP borrowers. To promote access to capital, initially only community financial institutions will be able to make First Draw PPP Loans on Monday, January 11, and Second Draw PPP Loans on Wednesday, January 13. The PPP will open to all participating lenders shortly thereafter.
