Loudoun County COVID-19 Data Snapshot
Loudoun County Update
  • Help slow the spread of COVID-19. As we wait for the supply of COVID-19 vaccine to catch up to demand, it is more important than ever to continue to follow all current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to protect yourself and your family against COVID-19.
    • Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose.
    • Stay at least 6 feet from people who don’t live with you and avoid crowds.
    • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol.
    • Get a flu vaccine. Find a clinic in northern Virginia.
  • COVID-19 vaccination registration continues in Loudoun: Loudoun County health officials continue to ask for patience from those seeking the COVID-19 vaccine. When more vaccine arrives, more vaccination appointments will be scheduled. Anyone who is in  either the Phase 1a (PDF) or Phase 1b (PDF) priority group and has not submitted information to the Health Department, is encouraged to complete the online pre-screening survey which is the most efficient method for obtaining an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination. If you have submitted the survey, there is no need to contact the Health Department.
  • COVID-19 testing event January 27: The next Loudoun County-sponsored drive-thru COVID-19 testing event will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Claude Moore Park, 46150 Loudoun Park Lane in Sterling. The free event is open to all. There are no age or residency requirements. No prescriptions or appointments are necessary. A person does not have to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested. A PCR test (nasal swab) will be administered, which tests for the novel coronavirus. No antibody or rapid tests will be offered. More information, including links to registration forms, is online at loudoun.gov/COVID19testing.
