Weekly COVID-19 Vaccination Waitlist Update
- Loudoun County continues to vaccinate individuals from the pre-registration waitlist as quickly as possible as vaccine supply allows. Every Friday, the county provides an update on the current waitlist.
- Date Now Serving: Loudoun County has started offering appointments to individuals who are in the current priority groups and submitted pre-registrations online or by phone on March 31, advanced from March 9 in last Friday’s report.
- Current Waitlist: There are currently 93,059 people remaining on the waitlist, down 8,966 since last Friday’s report.
- This current waitlist number includes all pre-registration forms submitted with duplicates removed. This list is now largely comprised of people in the Phase 1c and Phase 2 priority groups.
- The waitlist continues to grow daily as more individuals pre-register. Anyone in Virginia can now pre-register at vaccinate.virginia.gov. Individuals are removed from the waitlist when the vaccination date for their first dose of vaccine is reported in the system, which may occur after the actual date of vaccination.

Loudoun County Update
- Celebrating Spring Holidays Safely: Even with vaccinations on the rise, health officials urge caution during the spring holidays. It’s best to celebrate Easter, Passover and other holidays virtually, or to limit gatherings to members of the same household. Anyone who has been fully vaccinated should still follow COVID-19 mitigation guidelines, such as wearing a face covering in public and staying six feet away from people who are not in your household. A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the second shot of a two-dose vaccine and two weeks after a single-shot vaccine. - COVID-19 Information Line Closed April 4: The Loudoun County COVID-19 information line, 703-737-8300, will be closed, Sunday, April 4, 2021, in observance of the Easter and Passover holidays. The information line's normal hours are Monday - Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Residents may also call the statewide information line at 1-877-829-4682 for information or go online to vaccinate.virginia.gov for more information on how to register for COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Next COVID-19 Testing is April 6: Loudoun County will hold another free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing event Tuesday April 6, 2021, at Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park, 42405 Claudia Drive, Leesburg (Enter the park on Crosstrail Boulevard from Sycolin Road.)
- The testing events are free and open to all. There are no age or residency requirements. No prescriptions or appointments are necessary. A person does not have to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 to be tested. A PCR test (nasal swab) will be administered, which tests for the novel coronavirus. No antibody or rapid tests will be offered. No COVID-19 vaccine will be available at these events.
- To help reduce wait times, people who plan to attend the testing events are strongly encouraged to complete a registration form for each person who will be receiving a test prior to arriving at the testing site. The registration form is required and asks for general demographics and contact information, including name, date of birth, address, phone number and current symptoms, if any. - Parenting During a Pandemic: Loudoun County is offering “Parenting Wisely,” a virtual parent support program for parents of middle school- and high school-aged children. The program helps parents learn strategies and techniques to better support their children and manage difficult situations in the home. Parents will learn constructive skills proven to decrease problem behaviors, reduce family conflict, and improve the family dynamic. The free, four-to-five-week program is held on Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. The next session starts April 14, 2021. Find out more information at loudoun.gov/familysupportservices.
