  • Loudoun County Expands Vaccination Opportunities: Loudoun County announced today, Monday, April 12, 2021, that effective immediately, the county is expanding COVID-19 vaccination opportunities to include all Loudoun County residents who are 16 years of age and older. As we reported in our earlier blog post, everyone 16 years of age and older is encouraged to pre-register for a COVID-19 vaccine if they have not already done so.
    • Pre-register online at vaccinate.virginia.gov. Note: If you are registering more than one person, include a unique email address in separate pre-registration forms for each individual who will receive a vaccine.
    • Those without internet access may pre-register by calling 1-877-829-4682.
    • All health districts in Virginia are scheduled to advance to Phase 2 of the vaccination plan no later than April 18, 2021. Loudoun County Health Director Dr. David Goodfriend says Loudoun was able to expand vaccination opportunities to the general public earlier than expected due to the “efficient vaccination of people who were in the Phase 1 priority groups over the past three and half months. “
    • Please note that anyone under 18 receiving the vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at their vaccination appointment or they will be turned away.
