Loudoun County Update
- County Schedules COVID-19 Testing in May: Loudoun County will continue to hold free, drive thru COVID-19 testing events through May. All events are scheduled for Tuesdays, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Here is the schedule:
- May 4: Franklin Park, 17501 Franklin Park Drive, Purcellville
- May 11: Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park, 42405 Claudia Drive, Leesburg (Enter the park on Crosstrail Boulevard from Sycolin Road.)
- May 18: Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls (Access the testing location in the back parking lot, near the senior center.)
- May 25: Dulles South Recreation & Community Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding
- In addition, the county is holding a previously scheduled COVID-19 testing event from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, at Ray Muth Sr. Memorial Park, 20971 Marblehead Drive, Ashburn.
- Governor Amends Executive Order 72: Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has amended Executive Order 72, easing some coronavirus restrictions for instructional settings, school performances and certain recreational events, such as outdoor races. There are also changes to the rules affecting restaurants, allowing patrons to be seated at a bar for service, provided they are at least six feet apart.
